Who to contact, and the fastest way to get an answer
Anything stopping you working, call — do not email. Anything else, email or log a fault, and include what changed and when.
Support is in Adelaide and answers the phone. Which route you take mostly depends on whether the thing is stopping you working right now.
Call us if work has stopped
Phones down, internet down, nobody can log in, or anything that looks like a security incident. Do not email these — an email waits for someone to read it, and a phone call does not.
Email or log a fault for everything else
A handset that has developed a rattle, a new starter who needs an extension, a question about a bill. These get picked up in order and you get a written trail, which is usually what you want for anything with detail.
What to include, either way
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- When it started, and whether anything changed just before
- Whether it affects one person or everyone
- The extension number, handset or username involved
- A photo or screenshot if there is anything on screen
That list looks like a lot. In practice it is two sentences, and it is very often the difference between a fix in one exchange and a fix in four.
